Of course I remember you, you're not someone easily forgotten. [He's rarely seen a human fight so hard or so well, but he'd still managed to wipe the floor with the kid.

That said, it's not a surprise to hear him coming back for more.]

But I don't see why not. You held your own well enough last time, I'm interested to see if you've been able to improve.

[It’s not the first time he’s been called unforgettable, and maybe it makes him egotistical, but he thinks it won’t be the last, either.]

I’m sure I have! My magic’s different now, so I’ve had to readapt. Hopefully I’ll be more of a challenge!

[It's just as well that Red Wine would probably refuse to fight him if he wasn't physically up to the task (in his estimations), or he could accidentally kill the man given how they both throw themselves into their sparring.

[His excitement is obvious, like a puppy who's owner has just come home from work and they've been dying all day to see them again.

And, unsurprisingly, Childe is at their agreed upon location early. He feels like Red Wine is the sort of man who appreciates being punctual, and he's not really looking to make a certain sort of impression on the man. He's here for a fight. A good one, where he can learn from someone who's been fighting for much longer than he has.]

[Red Wine isn't there quite as early as Childe but he's still early regardless, having expected the young man to be ready and waiting for him with how eager he is about all of this.

He approaches with an easy half-smile, one hand already resting on the hilt of his sword.]
