Well, the mess in the kitchen does need to be cleaned up, after all. But I suppose that being chased around the house while everyone else is sleeping wouldn't be advisable.

[with the blankets pulled over them, Dohalim curls onto his side as one arm snakes over to loosely wrap around the other man's waist. relax is easier said than done, but the hand in his hair is doing a heck of a job of helping. now, if he could just stop overthinking about sleeping, that would be ideal]

Mm, and I'd make sure to wake everyone so they could see how ridiculous you were being.

[Much more comfortable than a futon. Red Wine lets out a slow, comfortable breath and settles himself against the mattress and soft pillows. Dohalim would be able to hear his heart beating, slow and steady, and he stops moving his fingers in favour of just stroking the side of his thumb softly behind the man's ear.]

How's that..?

That would be inconsiderate...

[oh, that's a... really good spot. enough to make Dohalim's eyes droop just a little, as he presses his face against Red Wine's chest]

Mm, that is... Really nice...

[his fingers idly drags up and down Red Wine's spine, hand slowing with every moment passing]

[There's just a soft chuckle to that - it would be terribly inconsiderate, wouldn't it... But he'd do it, because Dohalim really did need to be aggressively called out on all of his crap before he managed to escalate it.]

Mm... good. [He replies quietly, continuing the light movement.

In the end it doesn't matter if Dohalim falls asleep or not, as long as he's able to at least relax. He can feel the slowing of the touch up and down his spine, though, and takes that as something positive.]

[wow, rude. he won't stand for this mutiny in his own home.

but, it's only a few short minutes after when Dohalim finally feels his eyelids flutter closed, too heavy to keep open, and his hand stills as he can feel himself drift off. at least, now, Red Wine can go back to sleep, finally]

[He stays awake a little while longer, just to make sure that Dohalim isn't faking it in order to make sure Red Wine himself goes to sleep first. When he's satisfied that the man is in fact asleep, and only then, he sighs out a soft exhale and closes his eyes.

And it doesn't take him long at all to fall asleep as well, still with one hand lightly buried in Dohalim's hair.]

[wow??? Dohalim has a bit more integrity than that??? if only because he doesn't want to incur his sleep deprived wrath.

for the most part, Dohalim does end up sleeping the night away; only a few times does he wake up with a jolt, only to be lulled back to sleep at the feeling of Red Wine's hand in his hair, and the warmth under the blankets. come morning, he's still out, pressed against Red Wine's chest and almost completely buried under the covers.

it's close to noon when he finally wakes up properly, slowly, as he tries to blink the sleep away]

[The brief moments when Dohalim does wake up are answered only with a sleepy murmur from Red Wine and a few idle strokes of his thumb behind the man's ear. He shifts around a little in the night of course, but as someone with a tendency towards enjoying cuddling in bed he doesn't move far.

He enjoys a good long lie in, so when Dohalim wakes up he'll find the other man still quite contentedly sleeping.

Red Wine looks peaceful when he's asleep, with the prideful and haughty lines smoothed into something softer.]

[Dohalim doesn't move much at first, only pulling away just so he can get a look at Red Wine better as he sleeps. it really is sweet that he stayed the entire night and morning; he really didn't have to. he has to smile softly to himself; he can practically hear Red Wine's voice in the back of his mind telling him that he's being foolish yet again.

reaching up, Dohalim gently brushes a lock of hair that had fallen into the other man's face, fingertips ghosting over perfect skin as he watches him with admiration]

[His expression pinches softly when he feels his hair being moved and he stirs with a soft sigh, a tiny frown and a mutter of 'five more minutes' exhaled on a breath of air.

A moment later, when he realises the covers are not being ripped off him by Steak and his brain catches up with him, he opens one eye just slightly and then blinks awake.]

Oh. [Hmm... that's nice.] There you are.

[there's a pause before he lets out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. absolutely adorable]

Here I am.

[cupping Red Wine's face with his hand, Dohalim rubs smalls circles against his cheekbone with his thumb]

If you want to catch those last five minutes of sleep, I won't mind.

No, no, I'm awake.

[And with his usual headache. There's a good reason he isn't a morning person. Or really much of a person at all for at least an hour after waking up. He tips his head against Dohalim's palm and hums softly.]

Did you sleep?

[Given that was what he was here for, and all...]

Surprisingly, I did. I'd only woken up once or twice throughout the night.

[which is saying a lot, considering that whatever little sleep he did get, he'd wake up more throughout the night. it was nice, getting a decent night's sleep, for once]

I hope I haven't ruined your sleep schedule by making you come over.

What's a sleep schedule?

[Really, he just sleeps when he wants to.

He is normally not nearly so talkative just after waking and it is a little bit of an effort. Red Wine yawns, covering his mouth with the back of his hand, then reaches out to toy with a curl of Dohalim's hair.]

No bad dreams?

Just one or two.

[there's no point on lying, really. Dohalim's pretty much committed to the fact that he'll never be without nightmares, but it was nice to not be completely terrified of them in the middle of the night]

If you're tired, you should go back to sleep.

[A soft huff of amusement leaves him and he shakes his head.]

I told you I don't wake up quickly.

[Understatement really. It's hard to do when you tend to wake up feeling hung over.]

I'm fine. You worry too much.

Perhaps I do.

[tilting his head up a little, Dohalim presses a soft kiss to Red Wine's lips]

But ever will I be the overthinker.

Hmm...

[He buries his fingers into the richly coloured curls of Dohalim's hair, holding him in that kiss and closing his eyes.

The man really does think too much.]

It's not an entirely objectionable quality.

Yes, but there is always a time and place.

[well, at least he's admitting to it than anything. look at him go, facing his vices. sighing, he shakes his head]

It can be a detriment, sometimes. An annoying one, at that.

There is that. [Another light huff of laughter leaves him as he combs his fingers slowly through the man's hair. It's nice to be given time to wake up instead of being expected to be immediately on his feet and ready for the day.]

We all have our irritating sides. Even me.

[Yes, shocking.]

Hmm... Yes, I suppose we all do.

[leaning in, Dohalim doesn't kiss Red Wine again, but nips at his bottom lip instead]

Don't think for a minute that I've forgiven you for the coercion last night. Twisting my arm like that when I was vulnerable, you should be ashamed of yourself.

[Red Wine shifts at that, and with one hand against Dohalim's shoulder he pushes the man over onto his back and moves to lean over him.]

Isn't it strange how I'm not in the least. [He replies with a spine-melting grin, sliding his hand down from Dohalim's shoulder and idly across his chest.]

But I expect you anticipated such a thing.

Ah, that was my mistake.

[as he's guided down on his back, Dohalim reaches up around Red Wine to gently graze his nails up and down his spine]

I'd forgotten how awful you could be.

If I'm so awful, I'm sure you won't want me doing this.

[He skims his hand down Dohalim's stomach to the inside of his thigh, where he gives a light squeeze against the firm muscle there. His lips press soft and warm against the other man's and his eyes dip closed, a tiny smile pulling at the corners of his mouth.]

In fact I should probably go right away before I offend you further.

[ah, so this is the sort of morning they're going to have then, is it. there's a soft smile of his own as he kisses Red Wine back; he lets out a soft sigh as they pull away. eyes slip half closed as he watches the other man, his leg shifting ever so slightly at the touch]

Presumptuous to think that I was offended. I was only stating the obvious.
